Gifted Education 

 

     Mrs. Davis began teaching gifted education in 2013. Mrs. Davis provides indirect gifted education services for students in grades K-2 and 9-12. She provides direct gifted education services for students in grades 3-8 through various pull-out programs. She also conducts 2nd Grade Child Find activities with each second grade class at Gillmore Elementary School and Grove Hill Elementary School. Mrs. Davis provides services at all seven schools in the Clarke County school system.

     Mrs. Davis is a graduate of Jackson High School. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of South Alabama and a M.Ed. in Elementary Education from the University of West Alabama. Mrs. Davis completed her gifted certification through Samford University. Mrs. Davis was selected as the 2017-2018 Clarke County Secondary Teacher of the Year. She is a member of the Alabama Association for Gifted Children (AAGC) and the Southwest Alabama Area Gifted Educators' Society (SWAAGES).
